Certification

Become officially certified in using VR. This course is also perfect for those who want to refresh their VR knowledge.

On a trial? Certification is not available on a trial account. Email info@cornerstonevr.co.uk to move to full access and book a place.

Important information regarding all courses. Please read carefully:

  • Timings for all courses are 09:30 to 13:30.
  • All courses include a mandatory headset induction. Mandatory headset inductions will usually take place 16:00 to 17:00 on the day before courses. For all Monday courses inductions will be held on the preceding Friday, 15:00 to 16:00.
  • All courses and headset inductions take place on Microsoft Teams.
  • VR headsets are required for all courses.
  • We allow up to 2 practitioners, per organisation, per course.

What the course covers

  • Trauma-informed delivery: grounding, pacing and consent.
  • Recognising and responding to distress during a session.
  • Choosing the right experience for a year group or staff team.
  • Headset handling, hygiene and room setup.
  • Recording disclosures and working with your designated safeguarding lead.
  • Measuring impact and using the feedback forms.
